The Weeping Soil’s Resilience

She stood for long days and hours,
Waiting for future hopes to live.
She was drowning, losing her sole soul.
It felt close to death to close her eyes,
As if fortune favored her bowing down—
Her head held brave rather than forsaken.

The trees, plants, and various herbs
Inspire the pangs of a new life ahead.
The sun left her as if thrown into the dark;
Nature never forgives her assault.
Humans and lives clatter
Underneath the meadow and the earth,
Sharing love and friendship even
Among lower animals, sparingly stretched
To notify others in hopes of survival.

Birds and other small creatures rise up
Here and there to claim the soil and beds,
To cover the body and the soul
Together with the roasting downpour
In the humid cluster of a sharpened world.
