The Iron Loom of Light

The water falls, the wild wind blows,
A heavy breath of iron slows,
And steel begins its spinning grace,
To wake the dark in every place.

Within the cage of copper wire,
The hidden spark, the silent fire,
The rotor turns through fields unseen,
And breathes a current strong and clean.

From spinning breath to living stream,
It feeds the city, wakes the dream,
A tireless heart of force and spin,
Where motion lets the light begin.

Main theme:

  • Electromagnetic Induction: The original explanation based on Michael Faraday’s law is accurate.
  • Rotor vs. Stator Clarity: The rotor spins while the stator remains stationary, generating an electromotive force (EMF) via relative motion.
  • Current Delivery: Alternating current (AC) utilizes slip rings, while direct current (DC) relies on a split-ring commutator
