The Eternal Current

A sunset deepens on the Atlantic shore,
Flashing a vision through the inner eye—
As if lost remnants fell into the floor
Where restless, heavy layers underlie
The shifting, darkened shapes across the sky.

The woodland falls asleep in tangled green,
Where creeping vines and heavy blossoms weave,
A sudden pause upon the shifting scene,
As though the fading daylight took its leave
To claim what golden moments it could thieve.

The tides maintain their vast, relentless pace;
The sun must rise and set by ancient law.
Since earth began its long and crowded race,
It feeds the growing plants, the hidden draw
Of deep, subterranean mines, and oceans raw.

Through light and dark, the stream of life will flow,
An endless race sustained by unseen ties,
No rigid grid to dictate how we grow,
But stitched by vital force that never dies,
Woven through earth, the rivers, and the skies.

Beneath a system shifting, vague, and vast,
We peer into the clouds where thunders form,
A fleeting prelude on the meadow cast,
Before the sudden breaking of the storm.

Summarisation of the Poem: This amazing poem, “The Eternal Current”, clarifies the imagery and smooths out the rhythm while preserving my original themes: the dramatic Atlantic sunset, the contrast between the dark storm clouds and the sleeping earth, the eternal cycles of nature, and the mysterious vital force that drives all life. This beautiful metaphorical beautification of each and every stanza of the poem may impress the readers.
