Mrs Hemans grew frantic when her driver Arora routinely delayed her daughter Kith by hours to watch lake gulls. Mrs Hemans was deeply distraught for a couple of weeks after spotting major irregularities in the work of her personal driver, Arora. Right after his appointment, he made frequent complaints against her daughter, Kith. Kith is a teenage girl in Class VII at a British convent located three kilometres from their home in Kolarua City.
Every day, Kith asked the driver to go by the lake where countless sea gulls fascinated her. She gazed at them for hours, causing her arrival home to be delayed repeatedly. Mrs Hemans had watched Arora’s activities since he joined. Before this job, Arora was a simple schoolboy. After his father’s sudden death, he was lost and took this job to earn a living.
Mrs Hemans ran a school in the city and worked from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Arora’s duty was to drive both Hemans and her daughter. One day, Kith asked Arora to go to Maharaja, an ancient city five kilometres from her home. They went there, enjoyed the scenery, and stayed for about 12 hours, returning home at 9:00 PM.
